Pre-Stage Area

1. Description

The purpose of pre-stage is to control the flow of all competition vehicles to the start line.
The benefit to competitors is they are not queued for long periods of time, far away from the pits without their support crews, shade, water etc.
The pre-stage area is located in the south east corner of the pits. When vehicles are ready to race they must join the queue in the pre-stage area.
The pre-stage official will issue each competitor with a card which determines their place in the queue at the start line.
The Starter will radio Pre-Stage to send a group of vehicles to the start line. Typically this will be in groups of ten.

2. Responsability

Pre-Stage Controller
It is the responsability of the Pre-Stage Controller to direct all vehicles, riders, drivers and support crew whilst in the pre-stage area.
It is the obligation of all competitors and crews to comply with all directions given by a Pre-Stage Controller.
Pre-Stage Controllers are responsable for all equipment issued for the Pre-Stage Area.
