Secretary MODULE - Level 1

The main purpose of the secretary is that of primary administrator for the club. The Club Secretary carries out or delegates all the administrative duties that enable the club and its members to function effectively.

 

The duties of the secretary include;

  • Answering phone calls, sending and receiving, emails and messages on behalf of the DLRA.
  • Prepares documents on behalf of the DLRA.
  • Process and distribute DLRA mail and other correspondance.
  • Attend committee and general meetings.
  • Scheduling, preparation and distribution of committee meetings, agendas and minutes.
  • Acts on behalf of the DLRA in various communications, negotiations and purchases.
  • Maintain and manage membership database.
  • Maintains document records on behalf of the DLRA
  • Arrange travel and accomodation arrangements for officials and / or guests.
  • Other duties as directed by the Executive Committee

 

Reports to the Chairman of the Executive Committee.

 

Prerequisite for this module is completion of the Introductory Module and issue of a DLRA Trainee Officials Licence.
