Emergency procedures

    i. If you have an emergency turn to the EAST (emergency side)  Turn out and stop as soon as safely possible.  We will dispatch rescue to you and hold the course.
ii. If you blow an engine or trans and drop parts on the course exit to the EAST (emergency side).  This will keep your fellow competitors from cutting the only tire they have on their vehicle and ruining their week
iii. If you need immediate medical assistance pull to the EAST (emergency side)
iv. If you are on the return road and need medical assistance notify a Course Spotter or if a rider, lay down next to your bike.  If a staff person sees a entrant on the return road lying down we are sending the ambulance so be careful where you take your naps.
  f.

If a course emergency requires the ambulance the course is closed until the ambulance returns to it's station.

This applies for non racing medical emergency incidents as well.

  g.   Safety is the responsibility of the driver support crew.
  h.   Conduct of crew members is the responsibility of the vehicle entrant.
