Open Invitation

The Dry Lakes Racers of Australia would like to offer an open invitation to any racer thinking about the adventure of a lifetime and coming to Australia to compete at the DLRA Speed Week.

We can provide expertise with vehicle logistics both from the around the world to Australia and within Australia, we can also advise on things like accommodation, car hire, provisions, directions. We have a number of fellow racers who are only too willing to help you achieve your dreams and goals.

By providing a point of focus, we are also looking to be able to make sharing arrangements and keep costs low..

The pages below have been put together primarily for International Competitors and Visitors to help them get to Lake Gairdner for Speed Week. As more information becomes available it will be added to these pages

We have a team of members who can help you with most aspects of your trip. Just let us know what you are looking to do and we will try to help you. There is limited opportunity to billet some teams with members who live in South Australia

We also have a large safe location for storage of containers, with room to unpack and prepare your vehicle.

If you choose to transport your 40 foot container to Lake Gairdner make sure you specifiy to your transport company that you require a side loader to place it directly on the salt in the pits.
