Peter Noy #6

Manoora South Australia

Peter has been the DLRA timekeeper for longer than I can remember. He's the guy who sits out in the old caravan in the middle of the lake every day during Speed Week. Measuring the speeds for each run made and relaying the results back to the pits.

In the early years he worked with what was very old and frustrating equipment. He was involved with the purchase of new gear and the maintainance and repair of the existing equipment. Over the years he has also developed new and better ways of laying and packing up the kilometres of wires. This has greatly sped up the set up and pack up.

Peter has dedicated a considerable amount of time and effort to the club and we are all extremely gratefull for his efforts.
