Keith Stamp #114

Wangaratta, Victoria

Keith's C/GC 1932 Ford 5 Window Coupe

Here's the whole team, that's Keith holding his time slip

From Wangaratta in Victoria, Keith is a veteran hot rodder having built and owned numerous hot rods and performance cars over the years, so it was as with so many rodder, he was drawn to the salt. Keith is also a very respected body man and turned out numerous jobs over the years that were almost works of art.

Keith first raced at the salt in 1995 driving a C/GALT for a very respectable 139.48MPH. Returning in 1999 this time running C/GC for 138.846MPH. Unfortunately Keith suffered a stroke and was hospitalised for some time, his recovery was not complete and he suffers some movement problems on this right side. In usual Stamp fashion this was not going to stop him from doing what he loved and 2001 Keith trimuphantly returned to run the coupe again for a best speed of 112.320MPH, truly a remarkable performance. See Keith, I didn't even mention the spins!
