Gender and Cultural Awareness Unit
The DLRA believes that every member and/or entrant, official, volunteer or spectator (at all stages of their life regardless of gender, sexual orientation, ability (or disability), cultural background or ethnicity and no matter where they live) should be able to participate in and experience land speed racing in a welcoming and inclusive way.
Every person should be treated with respect and dignity and protected from discrimination, harassment and abuse.
We recognise that people may not be able to enjoy themselves or perform at their best if they are treated unfairly, discriminated against or harassed and so, we are committed to providing environments that are free from all forms of discrimination and harassment.
Accredited DLRA Officials, at least whilst in the action of performing their duties, are expected to maintain these values.
