This is what it was all about, Leigh has just set a new World Record of MPH with a top one way speed of .

Leigh was one of 3 Aussies who made up the Aussie AsSalt, "Thunder from Down Under team", going to Bonneville for the 50th Annual Speed Trials in August 1998. These photos taken on 29th June 1998 were taken in Leigh's garage, just two days prior to being loaded into a container bound for the States.
